Our meeting came to a close Friday night with two more baptisms, which brought a total of six obeying the gospel. Seven requested prayers to live a better Christian life. Our numbers were down again this year, but we are in no way discouraged as we had 113 registered this year. We had a group of young Christian couples with babies and we know that is our future. We were able to maintain 75-80 in our studies each session and when you are able to teach that many for the number of hours we hold studies each day, we are kinda proud of that.
We also took one afternoon to discuss how to build our attendance up a bit for next year and we did come up with some suggestions to do that. We pray that will help our numbers as well as a lot of folks will be aware of inviting others to come to enjoy the week in the Lord’s service.
We were able to raise enough money to pay all our bills and start some for next years expenses. Please pray for our success in providing an environment to learn of God’s word and a week of Christian fellowship. We give God all the glory.

Our June meeting starts on the 19th of this month. This will be our 51st on and we are eagerly looking forward to seeing all our old friends and all the good fellowship and good preaching. It is different from any other meeting that I have attended. Please come and enjoy a week in the Lord. We have six speakers during the day and then we get to hear Brother Wayne Lowry every evening.
